Job Description

Job Summary
Provide benefit administrative support and benefit knowledge to all Volvo Group employees. Provide an excellent customer experience. Reports to Manager, People Operations.

Professional Tasks and Competencies:
  • Support employees on resolutions on all benefit-related issues in an effective and timely manner and with care
  • Have a clear understanding of all the provided benefits as well as terms of eligibility for each employee
  • Maintains benefit records and prepares documents necessary for implementing benefits
  • Ability to process insured benefit enrollments, COBRA, terminations of coverage, changes, beneficiaries, disability, retirements and death claims
  • Document and maintain process work instructions and knowledge share documents
  • Train others on process and procedures
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in all areas of benefits
  • Participation in process improvements and root cause analysis
  • Ability to confidentially manage HR and medical related information and demonstrate ethical and professional conduct at all times
  • Ability to interpret policy and procedure
  • Assists with new hire orientation
  • Prioritize and organize work in a demanding and fast pace environment
  • Run reports as needed
  • Other administrative duties as assigned
Requirements and Qualifications Profile:
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years professional experience with benefit administration
  • Experience with SAP, Ultipro, Office 365
  • Proven ability to effectively collaborate and assist both internal and external customers
  • Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills with employees and all levels of the organization; able to create a working environment of open communication and trust
  • Ability to be flexible, take initiative, demonstrate self-motivation, and exercise follow through
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
  • A sense of urgency, a capacity for accurate decisions and the ability to exercise sound judgement in a demanding work environment
  • High energy and enthusiastic team player who works well with in a team environment
