Job Description

In this Human Resources intern role you will be challenged to innovate and to step outside the box. The student should be prepared to work in a challenging and fast-paced environment; gaining experience and knowledge in various aspects of HR. The internship places an emphasis on high analytical skills to include an entrepreneurial attitude, creative, out of the box thinking, and team collaborator. As a valued member of the Human Resources, the student will have the opportunity to work directly with the HR team.

Position Responsibilities
  • Compile and coordinate data to research potential HR related projects Involvement in bargaining unit hiring process as needed
  • Develop flow chart or action plan to be able to explain the work order process in facilities
  • Integrate knowledge and skills in manners that are mutually beneficial
  • Good programming knowledge
  • Practical experience in developing scripts
  • Ability to methodically handle Big Data Analytics
  • Assist in monitoring attendance and absenteeism
  • Root cause analysis development
  • Assist in HR SOPs and flow chart
  • Excellent team working and communication (verbal & written) skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in a growing, dynamic, interdisciplinary team
  • Perform other duties, as assigned

Internship Education and Program Requirements
  • Applicants must be currently enrolled at an accredited school and have completed 30 semester hours prior to the start of the internship.
  • Preference will be given to students pursuing degrees in Human Resources.
  • Applicants must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0.
  • Strong communication skills.
