You will be joining an experienced team situated in Gent (Belgium) , which is responsible for the first line support of the business critical applications used on one of the most important sites of Volvo.

We register and follow up cases that we receive from users on the campus , according to the Volvo Group IT support process.
Each member is a local point of contact linked to business critical applications/infrastructure connected to a global or local solution used in the business.
To secure the uptime for the business as much as possible we have a cross functional proactive setup together with other teams from Group IT and teams from the business to prevent disturbances from happening.

Are you the one?​​​​​


• You are an ambitous IT support specialist or want to become one, with at least 3 year of relevant experience with supporting people having IT issues
• You have good technical knowledge of and have interest in Windows 10, O365, Mobile devices like scanners, PDA's, and IT-networking
• You have basic knowlegde of servers, ODBC and scripting
• You are interested in new IT technologies like IOT , arduino, AI, ML , RPA or already have experience with one of these
• You are eager to learn and grow, have an analytical & problem-solving mindset
• You want to work in a global context according to business needs and the processes that are linked to that. Complete proficiency in English is a requirement.
