As a Senior Maintenance Electrical Engineer, you will provide leadership and guidance to the team and developing a highly talented and flexible engineering team. Responsible for safety, quality, delivery, and cost of the maintenance process, as well as projects/staff and competence development. This role is also responsible for fostering a continuous improvement culture focused on waste elimination, employee engagement, and the application/practice of lean theory.

Main activities and responsibilities for these roles
  • Manage your Maintenance organization against set safety, quality, delivery, and financial targets by leading and coaching your team
  • Continue the implementation of World Class Manufacturing, which means to implement standardized ways of working, develop the organization and achieve contribution from all employees
  • Full accountability and ownership of your team’s development, UAW relations, project follow-up, midterm road map (0-1 year), and policy deployment from plant to operator level
  • Responsible for validating electrical schematics of the equipment in the facility as well as determining/recommending incoming equipment concerning UL standards for Washington County, MD
  • Responsible for driving innovation on IoT related to industrial equipment
Critical competencies and experience
We are looking for a goal-oriented leader with a strong drive to deliver and have the ability to continually develop and improve the organization and its employees. The ideal candidate for this position has a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and ten (10) years of maintenance experience. Three (3) years experience in a diesel engine manufacturing setting is essential. Strong professional maintenance and lean manufacturing experience is essential. Strong electrical knowledge in an automotive and industrial environment is essential. Solid communication skills including working with cross-functional teams are essential to build networks and create trusting relationships. You believe in building a knowledge-based organization with strong teamwork as a foundation.
